Not flatterig

The dress is so cute on the hanger but not actually flattering on the body. The upper body/ shoulder area is rather bulky and the hips have an unflattering silhouette due to the pockets.
Also I should have read the return policy before ordering. They only offer store credit for returned items and deduct money from the item price if the return is the customers fault i.e. wrong size etc.
They also say you have 7 days to return any item, which is actually illegal in Germany, if they sell in Germany, they surely have to adapt to German law, no?
